Burgers can be made using a wide variety of meats. The most popular of which is beef. Many recipes can also be produced from this type of burger. You can even use the same recipes and just change the burger you use for variety. The most popular is burger steak of which the major flavouring ingredient, mushroom goes well especially with beef burgers.

Ingredients:

6 pcs. Thin beef burger patties

5 cloves Garlic, minced

1 pc. Onion, medium, thinly sliced

1/8 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper

¼ cup Button mushroom, thinly sliced

1 tbsp. Safflower oil

1 cup Water

½ cup Cream of mushroom soup

Cooking Instruction:

Heat a Teflon coated pan and fry the burgers until both sides are browned. If needed, you may add a small quantity of oil. Set aside the burgers atop paper towels to remove excess fat. On the pan used to fry the burger heat the oil and sauté the garlic and onion until the garlic turns golden brown and the onion starts to caramelize. Add the mushroom slices and stir. Place atop the mixture the burgers and add water. Cover and boil for about two minutes. After two minutes, you may lower heat to a gentle boil and cook for another 20 minutes. Add the cream of mushroom soup and mix. Increase heat and cook for another two minutes. Serve with rice or bread with your favourite red wine on the side.
